BABY & TODDLER SPA LEADER - Leicestershire
My Baby Spa are now recruiting for a part time Baby Spa Leader. As a Baby Spa Leader, you will be running 9 baby & toddler spa sessions a week in Oadby, Loughborough and Market Bosworth and therefore will need to drive and have a car big enough to transport the spa equipment. This is truly a unique position as you’ll be running a baby spa designed for 0-12 month old babies and a toddler spa designed for 1-4 year olds, so definitely not your usual 9-5 kind of job. You’ll need to have an outgoing personality as you’ll be interacting with parents and their babies and make sure they have the best, most memorable experience, customer service and group leading skills are key. You will be running these sessions alone so will need proof of a good track record of attendance. You will also need to be physically ok with carrying equipment and bending down to set up and pack away the spa daily.
This position is for a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and you must be at each venue from 8am – 3pm which includes setting up and packing away time which can be quite physical including thoroughly cleaning equipment. You will be running the baby spa alone so must be confident in working independently once training has been given and keep absences to a minimal. You’ll also need a DBS check and be willing to work towards getting qualifications such as baby massage. Between sessions, you’ll need to wash and dry the baby gowns ready for the next session which will also be paid for.
As this will be your ‘little baby’, you’ll need to give a months notice for holidays so we can plan the schedule accordingly.
Day to day activities of this position include travel to the venue, setting up the baby spa, running 2 baby spa sessions and 1 toddler spa session a day with a break in between to clean the equipment and then pack up at the end of the working day. During the actual session, you’ll welcome the parents and babies/toddlers and make sure they are comfortable, fill up the baby jacuzzis, guide parents on how to do a bonding massage, take pictures for social media if parents have given permission and upsell products. You’ll also need to promote the sessions online and in person where possible.
We are looking for someone long term with future possibility for growth within the company. Loyalty and reliability is key.
The hours are 24 hours per week (21 hours in venue plus 3 hours for cleaning/prep) at £10.50 p/h and training will be in Coventry and Stratford Upon Avon. This can be on a permanent or self-employed contract.
